The book I am reviewing today takes you to the beginning stages of a serial killer's life.It shows you the traumatic events that turned a once innocent young boy into the cold heartless serial killer adult.Now I will say this is not a book for the weak hearted cause it does depict violence against animals and I will admit myself that it was very hard for me to read cause I have a soft spot for animals.But it is very well written and very descriptive as it gives you insight into the inner workings of the mind of this serial killer.It makes you see that behind this monster who takes lives without a care for human life was once a small innocent boy who just wanted to be loved and cared for but grew up in a abusive household and was made out to be an outcast with no friends.Does it make what he does later in life right?Of course not but what it does do is give you an insight into what turned him into this monster.This writer really does write a really good story in which you can truly feel like your reading the diary of this serial killer and seeing exactly what has brought him to his point in life.You wouldn't suspect you're just reading a story about a fictional character,This is a great book for anyone who loves the CSI,Criminal Mind,Law & Order type shows cause this takes you into the mind of the killer to see how he works.
