Poems Of Emptiness by Fonda J Kerr

So today I am reviewing my second book.This one is not for the faint of heart as it is poems from a character from this author's other books who is a killer.It is dark and sinister at times and only people who can handle these types of stories should proceed to read this book.I was raised on Stephen King books so this is not really something that is far off from what I have read although even me myself was disturbed by the depths of this killers poems.The writing of this book was truly in depth and made you feel like you are reading the diary of a mad man who is explaining the depths of his serious mental state.You get the sense that he has remorse yet he can't quite stop himself from killing over and over again.You also see that their is more to his story as to why he feels the need to do harm to his victims.Where as most see him as this heartless murderer there is more depths to his dark soul that yearns to be more but feels as though all he'll ever be is a killer.The writing in this book is quite amazing as the author has taken this book and made it come to life with the descriptive wording that makes you feel as you're in the mind of this killer.It leaves you feeling anger towards this killer but also sadness for the lost soul within this killer.I can't quite describe it as it's a must read to really know what goes on in the mind of this murderer.If you are into these types of books I highly suggest reading this one along with her other books as it is very well written and although dark it is also very deep and thought provoking.
