We tested these gloves at the launch of the Great White Smoke's 2015 season where meats up to 200 degrees were being handled.It was found that handling the meat there was warmth felt but no burning heat unless you held it for a long time like anything the heat would eventually sink in but for handling the hot meats to move them around the grill or to pull them off the grill it was perfect as there was no burning our hands using it.If we could handle that kind of heat with these gloves you could easily use these gloves in a regular household use such as removing items from the oven.Best thing is are that these are dishwasher safe so you can sanitize them between uses.
